Ultra Tank is a 2D top down shooter game, similar to the tank mode in Combat from Atari 2600, but with a different control style and CPU opponent. The player controls a tank, and must shoot the enemy's tank. The battlefield has several obstacles, and tanks are not able to pass through them. The game has a time limit, and the player with the highest score wins.
