Yes. JellyStreamz is free to download and use. Community support on Patreon is optional and helps the project keep growing.

Do I need a Jellyfin server?

Yes. JellyStreamz connects to your own Jellyfin server. It does not include movies, shows, music, or any hosted media library.

Which Android devices are supported?

The early access app is designed for Android TV, Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, Android phones, tablets, Android Auto, and supported Cast devices.

Are Apple and Nintendo apps coming?

They are on the roadmap. Planned experiences include iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Apple Watch, and Nintendo Switch.

Does the gaming frontend include ROMs or emulators?

No. JellyStreamz organizes games you already own. You choose your own files and emulator, while JellyStreamz supplies browsing, metadata, artwork matching, BIOS checks, and launch controls.

Can I improve the public game database?

Yes. Signed-in members can suggest missing games and submit useful artwork. Every community contribution is reviewed before it becomes public or reaches the in-app scraper.
