Released simultaneously with SD Gundam Eiyuuden: Musha Densetsu, the two initially start out as separate stories with completely different worldviews, but as the story approaches the end, both stories are combined to an unified ending. Kishi Densetsu begins in the town of Lacroix, where an annual festival is held. In the middle of the festival, the Zard Army that suddenly died 10 years ago, aims at the legendary knight Gundam left in Lacroix. The main character, Mine, gets into the legendary knight Gundam and challenges Breston to a battle in order to compete with one of the four kings of the Zad Western invasion army.
