YOUR GAME BOY IS ABOUT TO BE PUT ON ICE! The hockey classic, Blades of Steel, blasts out of the NES’ box to crush you against the boards. From the face-off to the final whistle you'll attack the most ferocious hockey pucks ever to strap on video steel. Despite the ice, these guys are real hot heads. So don't slip-up or you'll be swimming in denture grip! All the slash-o-matic action you'd expect from the NES Blades of Steel, including passing, checking, goal tending and slap shooting. Three hard hitting levels (Junior, College and Pro) challenge you to either get better or get creamed. Eight pro-style teams to choose from: Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, New York, Edmonton, Minnesota and Toronto. Sudden death overtime and one-on-one (slap shooter vs. goal tender) penalty scenes will separate the winners from the wimps. When tempers flare the gloves will come off and full-blown fights will erupt. Increase practice scenes let you hone your slap shooting, goal tending and fighting skills.
