Tear of Nile or Nile no Namida is a puzzle game developed by Cross Media Soft and published by Victor. The player plays as an archaeologist who has to help out the princess and get the "Tear of Nile", which is a jewel. The player wanders from room to room, where they have to solve the puzzles : The goal is to lit all candles and lit the altar in each room (the first room only has the altar). Some obstacles will move to where the player stands (unless blocked) while others will follow the player around till a certain point. The archaeologist also gets hungrier with every move and needs to eat the meat that appears once a puzzle is solved. Points will be lowered for every move and every obstacle that touch the player.
