Turtle Ship was developed and manufactured by Philko in 1988. Sharp Image published the game in North America. Ancient ship comes to life with new weapons to save human race from annihilation. Space shooter that plays both horizontally and vertically. Turtleship is a vertically scrolling and side-scrolling shoot 'em up game where you take control of a 'turtleship' magically transformed in to a aero-hydro ship, on a quest to vanquish the one who commands the forces of evil. You fight a variety of enemies like spiders, bats, fish, seahorse, static guns, spacecraft and bosses. While playing, destroyed enemies drop power-ups. These include: slow-motion (S) for a short period, hard head missiles front weapon (H), plus one missiles (M), three way weapon (3) and super thunder (ST), the most powerful weapon.
