Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island is a 3D action platformer game and sequel to Nicktoons Unite! The game combines and links the TV series SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom and The Fairly OddParents. Jimmy Neutron is not playable this time but does make a cut-scene appearance. The heroes are summoned to Volcano Island by its crab inhabitants after Mawgu, an ancient evil has broken free of its imprisonment. Mawgu has interrupted the summoning ritual scattering the heroes across the island. It's up to you to stop the Mawgu evil and find the scattered heroes. In the game you take control of the heroes: Danny Phantom, SpongeBob SquarePants, Timmy Turner, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and Sam Manson. Gameplay includes platforming and defeating enemies. The game can be played solo or in co-op. Players can freely switch between characters with the remaining being controlled by the AI. Costumes for the characters and bonus levels can be unlocked during play.
