Skateball (also known as Skatewars) is a futuristic sports video game, a mix of ice skates and football . The playing field is the size of 3 screens and the central screen contains various obstacles made up dynamically from a library of sprites . The part added at the bottom contains the faces of the selected players (which are the faces scans of the people who participated in the development of the game. Two teams of three players each are selected from a list of players with different characteristics (speed, strength). This selection being automatic when the chosen opponent is the computer. The goal is to score a goal in the cages of the opposing team. A player may collide with another player to make him fall or push him against a deadly obstacle or in a pit. For the latter it is also possible for the player to jump over. On some versions, a vertical scroll shows the stands and scoreboards when a goal is scored or a player dies.
