Acorn Electron
Ravenskull
The player chooses one of four character types: an adventurer, wizard, warrior or elf. They then explore the four levels of a castle, searching for the four pieces of a crucifix. The gameplay involves dodging enemies, as well as collecting objects and using them to solve puzzles in other parts of the level. Many of the obstacles involve invisible triggers, where stepping on one piece of floor triggers a gate to open or close or a wall to close, with no warning beforehand. So each level must be played several times, with the player using their knowledge from the previous playthroughs. The game involved very fast scrolling for its time, especially when a "speed scroll" is used.
