Smash Court Tennis 3 is the sequel to Smash Court 2 from the PS2 and the first for the PSP franchise. Players can take control of 16 of the worlds ranked and upcoming stars of tennis including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Justine Henin and Anna Kournikova to name a few. There are also a variety of customizable items, from what their players wear and including what equipment they use during a match. There are a variety of modes to choose from, anywhere from Exhibition and Tutorial including a variety of minigames involving tennis bombs and a tennis-themed version of Pac-Man. There is also a career mode, the Pro Tour Mode, where players compete to become #1 in the world of tennis, acquiring new skills during games, use experience points to make their player stronger as well as train before matches. There is multiplayer capability through Ad-Hoc, where players can view their ranking against other players, plus players can play against a friend head-to-head using a single UMD in head-to-head games as well as minigames.
