BBC Microcomputer System
3-D Tank Zone
3-D Tank Zone is a 3D first person tank game heavily influenced by Atari's BattleZone for the BBC Micro. It was developed by Peter Gillett and Martin Kelsey and published by Dynabyte in 1984. As weapon commander, you must, with the aid of radar, scan the terrain surrounding the city and missile silos for marauding enemy tanks then destroy them before they get you. Watch out too for incoming jets and helicopters on the horizon. To aid you in your task, you have at your disposal a direct fire anti-aircraft cannon and an anti-tank missile launcher. The game features excellent 3D wire graphic tanks and battleground displays with realistic missile in-flight action and detailed instrument console.
