Amstrad CPC
Jet Set Willy: The Final Frontier
Jet Set Willy: Final Frontier was the follow-up to the hugely successful Jet Set Willy. Rather than being a fully blown sequel, this is more of an expanded version of the original with several additional rooms (including an entire space based section - hence the Star Trek inspired tagline) created by the team that ported the game to the Amstrad CPC rather than original author Matthew Smith. An initial Amstrad exclusive, the expanded version of the game was released as Jet Set Willy II across the other micros and was intended as a placeholder for a 'true' sequel that never arrived. As with the original Jet Set Willy, you take the role of Miner Willy who has to clean up his sprawling mansion of the flashing items before his housekeeper Maria will let him retire to bed.
